On December 22nd, 2017, President Trump signed the ‘Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’ into law, marking the most consequential tax reform legislation in the U.S. in 30 years which takes effect in 2018. Despite much discussion, the implications for businesses and individuals are not yet well understood.

Robin E. Pipkin

Robin Pipkin is a 30+ year corporate attorney who came to Poyner Spruill from the Richmond-based Sands Anderson firm. His law practice concentrates on commercial real estate, business and corporate law, tax law, trust and estate planning, estate administration, income tax return preparation, and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service.

Representative Experience
He practiced law for 24 years as a partner of a Raleigh business and tax law firm. His accounting experience also includes several years of work at Price Waterhouse. As a result of his accounting background, Robin is able to counsel clients who need business and tax advice with a comprehensive perspective.
