Jennifer ParserCorporate Secretary
Jennifer is an experienced multilingual attorney focusing on a broad range of immigration, labor and employment and creditors’ rights. She additionally advises on I-9 compliance, addresses issues relating to employer-generated I-9 audits, and assists with Immigration and Custom Enforcement issues.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree from Dartmouth College from whence she graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and as both a Rufus Choate Scholar and William Jaffe Prize recipient, Jennifer subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University. Jennifer holds a number of additional certificates, including: a Certificate in Public International Law from the International Courts of Justice, the Hague; a Certificate in E.E.C. Law from London University; and a Certificate in Comparative Private International Law from the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales, Geneva, Switzerland.
Fluent in French and English and conversant in German, Jennifer has resided in the UK, France, Australia, Switzerland and the United States and is admitted to the bar in both New York and North Carolina. Jennifer practiced law in New York City for thirty years before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina. A frequent author and speaker, in additional to her activities for the Triangle Chapter of the BABCNC, Jennifer serves as Vice President of the North Carolina Chinese Business Association and on the International Law and Practice Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association.
